Meet teamRSVP

Randle Roper-Olson
President randle@rsvpvacations.com

Randle joined teamRSVP in June 2013. Prior to becoming President, he was part of the leadership team of Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ vaunted Ambassador Service – the crown jewel of the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program. Randle worked for five years as Director of Entertainment & Operations for Atlantis Events and for nearly 16 years at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he managed the world famous Studio Tour. At age 27, Randle had a massive stroke. It was probably the best thing that ever happened to him – setting his life on its current wild and wonderful course. He made a promise to himself that after recovery, he’d finally see the world. So he got his passport and set a goal of visiting 100 countries by age 40. He’s happy to report he’s up to 118 and now has his eyes firmly set on traveling to them all!

A few of Randle’s favorite things:

Jim Cone
Vice President of Marketing jimmy@atlantisevents.com

Jim is RSVP's and Atlantis's dual-branded marketing lead. Prior to joining the team, he held senior marketing positions with Hilton Worldwide, Loews Hotels & Resorts, and DineEquity, Inc. Having caught the travel bug from his parents, he was destined for a career in hospitality. Jim followed his passion and earned his B.S. from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and an M.B.A. in marketing from The University of Southern California. In addition to exploring the world, Jim loves to hike, kayak, cook, and do pretty much anything on or near the ocean.

James Compton
Director of Guest Experience – Entertainment & Operations james@rsvpvacations.com

James joins us after having served on teamRSVP for our 2014 and 2015 Caribbean cruises. He comes to us directly from Studio3 Performing Arts Convention, where he created performing arts education intensives as Director/Producer. Originally from southern Indiana, James has lived in New York City and most recently in St. Louis, where he also graduated from the city’s famed performing arts conservatory at Webster University. He is grateful to have held various positions in arts/events management, project management, and non-profit fundraising and he’s thrilled to be part of the RSVP family and community.
