Join Curaçao’s biggest party of the year, as they celebrate Curaçao Carnival. Be among tens of thousands of spectators alongside the road witnessing an impressive array of multi-colored groups dancing on the beat of Tumba, their official Carnival music. With over 50 nationalities and ethnic groups, Curaçao is sexy and sophisticated. Its beaches are known for beautiful coral reefs, unique sea life, and 80-degree water temperatures. The capital city of Willemstad, one of six UNESCO world heritage city sites in the Caribbean, is filled with Dutch-colonial architecture dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. It's also home to the best anthropological museums in the world and many other art, maritime and Jewish museums.
